NEW YORK– Cardi B has been hospitalized due to a medical emergency and, as a result, will miss her headlining performance at Atlanta’s ONE MusicFest on Saturday night.
The Grammy-winning rapper took to Instagram to share the unfortunate news with her fans: “I am so sad to share this news, but I’ve been in the hospital recovering from a medical emergency the last couple of days, and I won’t be able to perform at ONE MusicFest.”
Cardi expressed deep disappointment, adding, “It breaks my heart that I won’t get to see my fans this weekend. I’ll be back better and stronger soon. Don’t worry.”
At 32 years old, the New York native has been going through personal challenges recently. She gave birth to her third child with rapper Offset less than two months ago, and the two are currently in the midst of a divorce.
